The Gravett Family

History

Sunset Golf Club was first opened in 1972 by Paul and Shirley Baechler and quickly became known as "The Friendly 18".  This nickname came not only from the course layout, which is both fair and challenging, but from the staff of the course who always treated guests like family.  This tradition has continued on with the Gravett famliy, and with the addition of the Baby Boomer course the nickname has evolved into "The Friendly 27".
