Happy New Year

The Gravett's would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year.  At this time we would like to fill you all in on what’s been going on here at the Sunset Golf Club this past fall and winter season.

During the fall months of October and November additional drainage was put in to some holes to help limit flooding in the spring and fall.  Additional trees were trimmed to help those golfers who didn't quite hit the fairway have a better chance of hitting the green on their approach shot.  New bunkers were added to add to the difficulty of the course as well.  The number one improvement that was made was the paving of three cart paths on the back nine.  From the bottom of the hill on number 10 up the hill and around the top of number 11.  Down the hill and across the creek on number 14 and from the creek up the hill from 15 to 16 tee.  These improvements will defiantly make a big difference to not only the players but the workers of Goderich Sunset.

Lynne Gravett and her restaurant staff hosted numerous Christmas parties in the month of December and the feedback has been very positive.  If you are looking at hosting anniversary, birthday, retirement, family functions or any function at all please contact Lynne at 519-524-8047.  Also if your business is hosting a meeting for half day or full day Goderich Sunset is the place to meet and greet your fellow work network.
